The conference is organized by Krasovskii Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IMM UB RAS), Yekaterinburg, Russia, www.imm.uran.ru
SCDG2019 continues the series of international conferences that were devoted to Academician Nikolay Nikolayevich Krasovskii (1924–2012) and were organized by the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics:
- “Actual problems of stability and control theory” (APSCT2009) devoted to the Ural scientific school on the theory of stability and control, which was founded and headed by Academician N.N. Krasovskii. Yekaterinburg, September 21–26, 2009, (Book of abstracts in PDF)

The conference is supported by the Russian Foundation for Basic Research (RFBR) under project 19-01-20057 and by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
SCDG2019 is dedicated to the 95th Anniversary of Academician Nikolay Nikolayevich Krasovskii. The conference will discuss contemporary issues and problems in the theory of stability of motion, mathematical control theory, theory of differential games, as well as questions of control in engineering systems and numerical modeling of control systems in various applications.
The conference covers the following research topics:
- Stability and stabilization
- Optimal control theory and differential games
- State estimates
- Differential equations
- Inverse problems of dynamics
- Applications of optimal control theory and numerical methods.
The conference program is expected to include 45-minute plenary lectures and 20-minute regular talks.
The working languages of the conference are Russian and English.

The registration fee for non-Russian residents is 200 EUR (14 200 RUB).
The registration fee includes: admission to all sessions, a participant's bag, conference program and materials, coffee breaks during the conference.

The participants are invited to submit their short papers
of 2–4 pages in length written in English or in Russian
. All papers should be prepared in LaTeX according to the template (English
) and submitted via the conference site.
The short paper submission deadline is 31 July 2019 (finished).
The authors will be notified of acceptance by 10 August 2019.
In order to submit your short paper, please log in on the conference web site, then, proceed to the “My Submissions” section, register a new submission and upload source files and a PDF-file of your paper in a single archive (ZIP or RAR).
It is not planned to collect abstracts.
Additionally, as an option
for participants, it is planned to publish a Special Issue of the Lecture Notes in Control and Information Sciences - Proceedings
series (ISSN 2522-5383). Papers in English of up to 10 pages in length may be submitted via the Springer OCS system. Note that submission of extended papers is not mandatory

Please note that all submitted manuscripts will be converted to XML and re-formatted according to the Springer branded style. Thus, it is not necessary for the authors to spend valuable time putting the final touches to the manuscript. However, it is important to follow the Key Style Points on manuscript structure, figure resolution, reference style etc. When preparing your manucsript please follow the Reference Style MathPhySci, Citation Style Numbered and Numbering Style Chapter Content.To submit an extended paper:
1. Go to the conference's webpage at the OCS system: https://ocs.springer.com/misc/home/SCDG2019.
2. Log in or register (if not yet registered). NB: All authors of extended papers must register with the OCS system regardless of their registration on the conference site.
3. Press either the “Submission” tab on the top or the green “Submit paper” button on the bottom.
4. Fill in all the required fields:
- Title: The title of your paper in plain text.
- Abstract: Paste your paper's abstract in plain text (max. 200 words).
- List of authors: Names, e-mail addresses and affiliations of all authors. Press the green button for each of them and choose the contact person (check-box in the Contact column).
- Paper document: Attach the PDF of your paper prepared according to the Springer's rules.
5. Press “Submit paper” button.
Each extended paper is subject to evaluation by at least two reviewers.
After the reviewing process, you will also be asked to upload the source files of final version of your extended paper along with the Copyright Form.
Location and Venue
Yekaterinburg is the fourth-largest city in Russia and the administrative center of Sverdlovsk Region, located on the border of Europe and Asia. It has a population of about 1.5 mln. and it is a modern city with world-class infrastructure that includes an efficient metro system and an excellent airport. The city is also one of Russia's most well-known centers for the arts, science, education and sports. Yekaterinburg was one of the Host Cities for 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™.
Koltsovo International Airport (SVX) is one of the largest airports in the country. It was awarded by the National Aviation Infrastructure Show (NAIS) as the best passenger international airport with passenger traffic below 7 mln. and as the best cargo airport.
The conference will take place at Oktyabrskaya Hotel (17 S.Kovalevskaya Str.) and Krasovskiy Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics (16 S.Kovalevskaya Str.).
The most convenient accommodation for participants is Oktyabrskaya Hotel located at 17 S.Kovalevskaya Street.
The Hotel offers special rates to participants of SCDG2019. The price for a single/double standard room will be 3500/4000 rubles (approx. €48/55) per night, breakfasts included. No pre-payment is required. In order to apply the discount, the participants should book directly by the Hotel's e-mail/phone (without any aggregators or other agents), the code phrase is “I am a participant of SCDG2019 conference”.

The organizers provide visa support to foreign participants upon their request.
As a rule, foreign visitors may apply for either Humanitarian Visa or Tourist Visa to be issued by a Consulate/Embassy of Russian Federation. Requirements to applications, ways of submission, visa fees and service fees depend on the type of visa and may also vary at different locations.
